Go To Sleep 3000

... you can do that tomorrow!

The bedtime alarm that doesn't ask nicely. It takes over your screen at bedtime, counts down, and puts the computer to sleep β€” because your brain wasn't going to notice the clock, and we both know it.

Get it free for Windows

One file. No install wizard. No account. No nonsense.

Time blindness is real. Willpower is not a plan.

If any of these feel familiar, this app was built for your brain.

"Just five more minutes" β€” said at 10 PM, heard from again at 1:40 AM.
Clocks are decorative. You've had one on screen the whole time. It changed nothing.
Hyperfocus doesn't have an exit sign. Something has to interrupt β€” gently, but for real.
Deciding to stop is the hard part. So the app decides. You just get a countdown.
You've tried "setting an alarm." Cute. You swiped it away mid-scroll without your eyes ever leaving the video.
"I'll go to bed when this is done" β€” the "this" in question: a 47-part video essay, a wiki spiral about Roman concrete, and reorganizing files you'll never open again.

This is what bedtime looks like

At your chosen time, this window appears on top of everything β€” with sound. Try it below. It's a demo; your computer is safe.

It's bedtime

... you can do that tomorrow!

Your PC will go to sleep when the timer ends. Save your work now β€” or snooze if you really must.

5:00

Demo only β€” nothing happens at zero, except a little confetti of smugness.

Built to be un-ignorable, never unsafe

Firm with your attention. Gentle with your files.

Always a countdown

Never an instant power-off. You always get time to save your work β€” even the "sleep now" button keeps a 30-second grace period.

School nights vs. weekends

One bedtime for Sunday–Thursday nights, a later one for Friday and Saturday. Because Fridays exist.

Sleep, shut down, log off, or lock

You choose what happens at zero. Sleep is the default β€” everything is exactly where you left it tomorrow.

Honest snoozing

Two snooze buttons, and the prompt always comes back. Ignoring the window, closing it, wishing it away β€” all count as snoozing.

Sound that cuts through

An alert when the prompt appears, an alarm at 15 seconds left. Uses your own Windows sounds. Can be muted if you must.

No morning ambushes

Asleep at bedtime? The reminder catches you if the PC wakes before 4 AM β€” and politely says nothing at breakfast.

For kids: no way out but bed

The bedtime window has no settings button at all β€” on purpose. A kid at the keyboard can snooze or comply. That's the whole menu.

  • All settings live in the parent's system tray, away from little fingers.
  • No-snooze mode hides the snooze buttons and removes the close button. The countdown finishes. Every time.
  • Sleep mode by default β€” homework is never lost, it's just… tomorrow's problem.

Works just as well on grown-ups

Adults with ADHD reported* that a full-screen interruption with a countdown succeeds where seventeen "one more episode" promises failed. Set it, forget it, get intercepted at 10:30 PM.
