01 / A friendship across dimensions

Your whole world.
Their new perspective.

Hex knows a world of paths, corners, and things that chase him. You can see something he can’t: a way in from above. Together, a familiar maze becomes a place full of possibility.

Hex, a curious one-eyed hexagon
Player one / On the PC

Be the curious one.

Guide Hex through his 2D world. Dodge sentries, find the Tesseract, and bring proof of another dimension home. Sometimes courage means trusting a friend you can’t quite see.

A little hero. A very big question.

Two connected cubes suggesting another dimension
Player two / In VR

Be the unexpected.

Reach into the board with 3D shapes. Your intersections change the world Hex sees. Interfere with his enemies and they rise into your dimension, where it’s your turn to face them.

Your perspective is your superpower.

That moment when “What is that?” becomes “Oh! I see it now.”
That’s the adventure.

Curiosity is better with company

The unknown isn’t empty.
It’s full of possibility.

Reach a little further. Look a little closer. Surprise each other.

02 / Follow the question

Every discovery
opens another door.

Three chapters. The same unlikely partnership. New reasons to talk, experiment, and see your world differently.

The first impossible thing

Proof of the Beyond

Reach the heart of the original maze. Take the Tesseract. Make it home alive, with a little help from a dimension you never knew existed.

The Relay Archive’s three chambers and bright relay gates02
A connection changes everything

The Relay Archive

A path is waiting to be opened. Touch relays with shapes from above, unlock the gates, and turn two different viewpoints into one shared plan.

Find a rhythm in the unfamiliar

The Breathing Observatory

The world has a pulse. Watch gates shift, discover alternate routes, and find your moment to move through the changing courts.

03 / An old idea. A new way to feel it.

For anyone who has ever
wondered, “What else?”

Our inspiration begins with a world on a page, and the delight of imagining what lies beyond it.

Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, §16

A visitor asks a flat world to imagine an entirely new direction. We turn that invitation into something two friends can discover through play.

The screen retelling / 2006
“Welcome to Flatland...
a world of only two dimensions.”
“Dr Quantum Visits Flatland”
What the Bleep!?: Down the Rabbit Hole

The animated retelling in the expanded What the Bleep Do We Know!? film brings the surprise of another dimension to life. That shift in perspective is part of our creative spark.

The next discovery is yours

Bring a friend.
Bring your curiosity.

One of you takes the keyboard. One of you steps into VR. The best part is what you discover between you.

WINDOWS PCPC VR / OPENXR2 LOCAL PLAYERS

An independent game in development. Designed for standing VR play around a shared board.

Make room for discovery

Use a Windows PC and a PC-connected VR headset with tracked controllers. Set your headset software as the active OpenXR runtime, clear your standing play area, and invite a friend to the PC.

Your first steps as Hex

Press Enter or Space to begin. Move with WASD or the arrow keys. Find the Tesseract and return to the exit. R retries the chapter; Enter continues after a victory.

Reach in from another dimension

Aim at a shape and hold grip or trigger to grab it. Move it through the board to reveal its cross-section. Release to place it. When an enemy rises into your world, swat it with a hand or a held shape.
